1. Collar Size
-
How: Wrap the tape around the base of the neck, where a shirt collar would sit.
-
Tip: Add about ½ inch for comfort.
-
Example: If your neck measures 15", your collar size is likely 15½".
2. Chest
-
How: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits, and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
-
Tip: Keep arms relaxed at sides.
3. Sleeve Length
-
How: Start at the center back of the neck, measure across the shoulder, then down to the wrist bone (along a slightly bent arm).
-
Tip: Typical sleeve sizes range from 32–37 inches.
4. Shoulder Width
-
How: Measure from one shoulder seam to the other (across the back), or from the end of one shoulder to the other.
5. Waist
-
How: Measure around the natural waistline, typically around the belly button or just above.
6. Shirt Length
-
How: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (near the collar) straight down to where you want the shirt to end.
